Sam Stankiewicz
Sam is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology and an incoming freshman at Cornell. At TJHSST, he was co-captain of Policy Debate, president of Young Democrats, president of Teenage Republicans, and a winner in national and international competitions including Regeneron ISEF finalist, top ten at the Wharton Investment Competition, and semifinalist in the Diamond Challenge. He conducted research at Harvard University under Professor Vijay Janapa Reddy.
Justin Kim
Justin is a 3x USABO semifinalist, reaching top 125 in 2024 and top 50 in 2025. He is also a 2x BBO gold medalist and placed first worldwide in the University of Toronto National Biology Competition. He has led his high school's Biology Olympiad Club and conducted biology-related research.
Roman Arora
Roman is a TJ graduate and National Merit Scholar with a 1520 PSAT. He earned a 5 on AP Chemistry, has taken organic chemistry, placed third in the WUCT partner exam and fourth in the WUCT team exam, and has served as a peer tutor for chemistry.
Edward Guo
Edward is a 3x USA(J)MO qualifier and 2x USAPhO qualifier, with a USAMO bronze and USAJMO honorable mention, both around top 75 nationally, plus USAPhO distinction twice. He has deep olympiad math and physics experience and focuses on making advanced problem-solving accessible for younger students.
Sharahil Mahmud
Sharahil is a student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. He is a 2x AIME qualifier, USA Physics Olympiad, and National Astronomy Olympiad. As a member of the Varsity Math Team, he has earned top-ten team finishes at both the Princeton University Math Competition and the Duke Math Meet. In addition to his STEM accolades, Sharahil is a Virginia Class 6 Policy Debate State Champion, a two-time DC MetroFinals Qualifier, and an NCFL Nationals Qualifier.
Samuel Zhang
Samuel is a USA(J)MO qualifier with honors(around top 50 nationally), a USACO Plat Contestant, and a USAAIO camper(around top 30 nationally). He is also one of around 30 rising junior students in the MIT PRIMES research program. He is a co-captain at TJ's intermediate computer team. Samuel has a strong background in math and computer science and is eager to help students develop their problem-solving skills and achieve their goals in competitions and academics.
James Fishman
James is an incoming freshman at Carnegie Mellon University. He has earned a 1600 SAT and twelve 5s and three 4s on AP exams. He has also conducted research through internships with CMU and Northwestern University. Moreover, James has extensive tutoring experience, having worked with over two dozen students in SAT preparation, algebra, precalculus, calculus, science, AP Biology, and AP Language, with a focus on helping students build strong fundamentals and achieve their academic goals.
